Welcome to the Web site of Sister Margaret Beaudette, S.C.!
For more than 30 years, Sister Margaret has devoted her talents
to art, teaching and creating her own sculptures.
Today, in 2008, her works may be found across the United
States as well as in South Korea, Bermuda, Haiti, Canada
and
Lourdes,
France.
As an artist, Sister Margaret's style is uniquely her own,
emphasizing traditional figurative work with clarity of line
and form. She creates bronze, bonded bronze and fiberglass
sculptures.
Her
work includes sculptures of Elizabeth Ann Seton, St. Augustine,
St. Bernadette, St. Paul the Apostle, St. Peter the Fisherman,
St. Francis of Assisi, St. Vincent DePaul, St. Joan of Arc,
St. Joseph and many others.
We
encourage you to browse through Sister Margaret's Web site,
including the extensive portfolio
of her works, and the gallery of
art which can be purchased. To learn more about Sister
Margaret's career, take the DePaul
Sculpture Studio Virtual Tour.
Sister
Margaret continues to create new sculpture, such as the
three new works which were recently added: St.
Angela Merici and Bl. Kateri Tekawitha in bronze, and The
Risen Christ in fiberglass.
We encourage you to preview, and purchase the new DVD about the creation of the Kateri sculpture by Sister Margaret.
